Company History

Originally founded in 1916, today's Golden Manet Press was formed in 1985 by a merger that consisted of the Golden Print of Quincy and The Manet Press of Braintree. The Golden Manet Press continues its excellence in the printing industry by using the latest in high grade equipment, modern technology and exceptional people.

Our Staff

Each individual at the Golden Manet Press bring their unique talents and experience to the account relationship and, as a team, ensure that customer projects are executed economically and efficiently.

Sales & Customer Service Team

Lance M. Peterson, President and Owner: Mr. Peterson acquired the Golden Manet Press in 1985 through a merger that consisted of the Golden Print of Quincy and Lance's previous printing company, The Manet Press of Braintree. Lance has spent his life-long career in the printing industry starting in the basement of his Quincy childhood home on a hand press at the age of 13. The only interruption to his entrepreneurial printing career being the four years he spend in the United States Coast Guard. His vast expertise is not only in the printing department, he is also an accomplished typesetter, designer, production coordinator and estimator. Away from business, Lance is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling.

Clyde C. Sharp, Sales Representative: Mr. Sharp is the top sales representative for the Golden Manet Press, Inc. His clients include financial management firms, health care, higher education, advertising and various service companies. Clyde brings experience as an account representative for an outdoor advertising firm, direct mail advertising and representing a check company. A Pittsburgh native, Clyde graduated from the Carnegie-Mellon Institute of Technology with a BFA in Speech, and is certified to teach in Pennsylvania and New York. In his spare time, Clyde is an avid saltwater fisherman and woodworker.

Julie H. Brown, Executive Administrator: Mrs. Brown joined the Golden Manet Press in 1983 as a Customer Service Representative. Acquiring an accounting degree from Quincy College, Julie is the company controller in charge of the accounting department and is responsible for billing, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Her strong customer service skills combined with an in-depth knowledge of printing and design, keep our inner office running efficiently. In her free time, Julie enjoys tending her extensive flower and water gardens as well as her koi pond.
