FTP (File Upload)Sending Files to Our FTP Site In many cases, attaching files to an email message will yield unpredictable results. Uploading files to our FTP Site is an easy and inexpensive way to send files to Golden Manet Press, as well as the most reliable form of electronic submission. You must have a program that will access ftp sites in order to send your files this way. Shareware is readily available. For Macintosh, we recommend Transmit or Fetch For IBM/clones we suggest WS_FTP . Before you access the ftp site, compress the files you want to send us into one file using Stuffit or PKZip. Be sure to include your main layout file, any placed graphic or eps files and all of the fonts used in the job (including all screen and printer fonts). It is also helpful to include a basic read me text file listing all the files you have compressed and any special instructions for your job. Send an email to your salesperson alerting him or her of the job, and attach a PDF that represents the final layout file. If you're an old hand at uploading files to ftp
